Covid Sickle Cell Warriors

Hello Warriors,

We hope you are doing well.

2020 has been a wowza of a year. The COVID pandemic, shutdown, and fallout affected us all. This issue has affected different folks in so many different ways. Sickle Cell Warriors, Inc. needs to understand the depth of this impact on our warrior family.

As you know, Sickle Cell Warriors, Inc. stands with patients and families in the fight with sickle cell disease. To be more helpful, we need to understand the areas of necessity. Our aim is to develop more resources to help our community. In other words, the more we learn, the more we can help you.

Warrior Impact Study

This study falls under 2 mission pillars; Research and Advocacy.

Our research team has developed a  small research study called the “Sickle Cell Warriors’ Patient & Family Experience and Impact to Covid Pandemic Study – One . Firstly, for fun, let’s nickname it something shorter.

Study 1 is a quick 12-question study and will serve as a framework for study 2.

Study 2 will be a more detailed comprehensive study that is currently in development with one of our collaborative partners.  It will take up to 1-hour and will be on the phone. Study 2 will be rolled out later this year. You can finish study 1 and have no further involvement. Or secondly, you can check the box if you are interested in participating in study 2.

Above all, the more warriors we can get to participate, the more knowledge we will receive. In addition, you can share this page as well with your friends and family.

Use Your Voice

Time to get involved Warrior Family. Please use your voice. Give us some input to understand the challenges your household is facing or has faced due to the coronavirus. This will help us further advocate for our community, develop resources, and support each other.  That is to say, any and all guidance you can provide is always appreciated. Therefore, the survey is below.

In conclusion, please share! Pass the survey, and do not pass Covid. #StaySafe #SickleCellWarriors

Thank you!
