Sickle Cell Disease (SCD) is a blood disorder that requires individuals to receive transfusion and blood exchanges on a regular basis.

SCAA will host this month-long blood drive during February Black History Month. It is important that to this community be represented in order to have the necessary blood available. SCAA wanted to be sure to maximize our reach of donors by having a virtual blood drive which affords individuals to donate in their community at their convenience.
