Happy Holidays!
As the year draws to an end, we just wanted to thank everyone that has been there for Sickle Cell Warriors, Inc. throughout this year. Our new year’s motto is the “Year of Achievement” and we can’t wait to see all the wonderful and awesome accomplishments that you and your family are going to have this year!
There are so many projects and initiatives we have in the works, and we hope that you will be a part of it. For now, enjoy the new revamped website. It provides easier access to all the features that you have come to enjoy, and a new search feature for old posts. We have several new classes starting up in late January, a conversation scheduled in February with the FDA, launch our State Ambassador program, and have to start planning for our next Annual Retreat in Atlanta, GA. This year is going to be so packed with a lot of great initiatives, so strap on, stay with us, and join us on this journey.
We also have a new Writing Team that will ensure that the website is updated frequently with posts. We have new talented writers on the team, and you will start seeing posts from them and may be contacted by them for features. Feel free to interact and comment on their wonderful posts! They are each dynamic, thoughtful, and creative, with a unique perspective on the management of sickle cell disease. They are: James G., RachelleG, ElleJ, BSemu, MaishahA, ChantellP, and of course, TAdams. You will see posts from all of them throughout this new year, so please give them a hearty welcome.
The Warrior Shop is now Open. Get “A Warriors Heart” T-shirt (hoodie, long sleeve, short sleeve etc) as gifts for friends and family. Click on the SHOP button on the header to get started.
