Hello everyone,
Sickle Cell Warriors has grown so much in the last two years. We have just finished our organizational restructuring and have finally filed all our documents to become an established nonprofit 501-c organization. So far, the success and growth that we have achieved (besides the amazing support from the online community), has been sustained primarily from our own sacrifices. We love what we do— advocacy is our passion, and we plan to do even bigger and better events, more advocacy training, more interactive projects. It’s a new Sickle Cell Warriors, and this is just the beginning of a focused vision We plan to fulfill and expand our mission objectives in the next year. But we need your help. We need access to funds to print educational materials, host the events, and set up scholarships/financial assistance for worthy candidates.
You can help us out by donating to Sickle Cell Warriors. All donations, no matter how small are welcome and appreciated. If each of our members on the site donated just $10 each, we would be well underway to accomplishing our fundraising objective of $10,000 for 2013. This website and community have been there for you in times when there was no one else. Please help us stay solvent and active so we can continue to help others. You can click below or use the donate button on the site. All donations are fully tax-deductible, and as you know, the blessing that comes with giving is incomparable.
You can use a credit card, or via Paypal. If you want to send us a check, please email us at donations@sicklecellwarriors.com and we will send you our mailing address.
No amount is too small or too great. All donations welcome. Thank you so much!
Be well.
~Sickle Cell Warrior
I just want to say thanks for the waiorrr survival bag. I had signed my dearest friend up, Connie Melvin who is fighting stage 4 colin cancer. Alot has happened since her diagnosis of August 17th. When I shared the bag with her, she lit up and was truly touched by the thoughtfullness and consideration of each item. She immediatly put the shirt and bracelet on, and the book of promises has brought her peace as I read her the passages. I’m so glad the Lord led me to you, your gifts go beyond words of thanks. Carol
