This Week in SC Research

This week in SC research, not that much went on.

HemoBioTech announced a new patent called HemoTech, which is a hemoglobin substitute. This is made from bovine hemoglobin (cows), and works just like human hemoglobin in delivering oxygen to the cells. It has been tested for several months in Seattle on sickle cell patients with no side effects. This could help those that have problems with blood matching, or when blood of their type is unavailable. Read more on HemoTech HERE.

See you next week for a summary of SC research.
