There is a point in which all of us living with SCD will consider undergoing a bone marrow transplant to see if it can help our condition. Although there have been success stories, it’s important to educate yourself on the process as well as what the terms mean.
Sickle Cell Warriors, Inc. is excited to host an informational, international Question & Answer Livestream with Claire Bendig, Community Engagement Facilitator at City of Hope for Be the Match. The interview will be hosted by the Founder & President of Sickle Cell Warriors, Inc., Tosin Ola, RN/BSN. We will be answering your questions live on September 28.
Post your questions on any of our social media groups this week (#GettheMatch #SickleCellWarriors) focused on how to find a match, the bone marrow transplant process, and how to get your family and/or friends to sign up in the national bone marrow registry. To meet the challenge for week 4, you must have 1 person sign up for the registry located at
Mark your calendar because we can’t wait to see you there!
