Conference Description
Sickle Cell Disease is the most common inherited blood illness. Due to improvements in childhood care, many more patients are living into adulthood. There not enough of physicians and nursing staff who treat adult patients. This causes misunderstandings, disease shame, and poorly delivered care. This year’s conference will focus on healing options in sickle cell disease.
NEW! This year immediately following the Sickle Cell Disease Symposium will be the Sickle Cell Statewide Network Annual Gathering. Lunch will be provided! Therefore, please mark on your registration form if you plan to attend this afternoon workshop.
